About Me

NAOMI, was born in Japan and moved to Hanoi where she has been learning for the lacquer painting at Vietnam University of Fine Arts since 2000. She started practicing yoga in 2012 while working at the Urban Railway construction project office in Hanoi Vietnam. In 2013, she slowly discovered Ashtanga yoga and often went abroad to Asian countries such as Japan and India to practice it. After leaving her job, she started teaching at Zenith Yoga Hanoi and OM Hanoi in 2014. She is 500RYT certified.

She needed to go abroad to located outside of Vietnam for practicing Ashtanga yoga. Because there were no Ashtanga teachers around her. In 2015, she went to Bali for practicing the Mysore class of Tarik Thami who is teaching at Mysore Tokyo in Japan. Then she has begun to foucus practice self practice in Hanoi. In 2016 and 2017,2018 she practiced under R. Sharath Jois at KPJAYI in Mysore, India. She has been continuing to practice it by myself. Then,she will continue to take a long journey of ashtanga yoga in the future. She is interested in chanting, Sanskrit, and yoga philosophy, which she continues to practice and study in her daily life.
She creates original yoga goods called KAMALAM (louts flower in Sanskrit).
